Every size deserves comfort. EquiPulse brings cold laser therapy to horses, dogs,
cats and pocket pets, alongside your veterinarian.

EquiPulse is JoAnn Cody’s own practice, serving Taunton and the Southcoast of Massachusetts.
It is independent, and it is not part of any veterinary clinic. Cold laser therapy
supports your vet’s plan. It doesn’t diagnose, and it doesn’t replace veterinary
care.

## Who we help

### Sport horses

Routine maintenance before, during and after a busy show season, so the horse in
the ring feels as good as the horse at home.

### Recovering patients

Animals coming back from surgery or injury, as part of a plan your veterinarian
has set.

### Seniors

Dogs, cats and horses whose owners want a more comfortable day-to-day.

### Small patients

Pocket pets to large horses. We adjust to the animal in front of us.

## A visit, step by step

 * **We start with a conversation.** What your vet has said, what you’re seeing,
and what the animal is telling us.
 * **We look before we treat.** A thermal camera can show warm or cool areas that
deserve attention, even through a winter coat.
 * **Treatment is short and calm.** We use a Class 3b multi-radiance laser. It’s
painless, and plenty of patients nap.
 * **We keep your vet in the loop.** If something is outside our lane, we say so
and point you back to your veterinarian.

## Her background

JoAnn is a veterinary technician and nurse who has worked in veterinary medicine
since 1996, in clinics from Westport to Brockton. She has spent her career in surgery,
anesthesia and dentistry, and she works in a surgical suite today.

 * **She reads a patient the way a surgical nurse does.** Comfort, breathing, what
   has changed since last time.
 * **She keeps good notes,** so your vet gets clear information, not a vague summary.
 * **She knows the language of your veterinarian,** and when something needs a vet
   instead of a laser.

## Questions people ask

Do you replace my veterinarian?

No. We work with your vet’s plan, never instead of it. If something looks like it
needs a vet, we’ll tell you.

Is it safe?

Cold laser therapy is non-invasive and widely used. We wear eye protection and avoid
certain areas, and we ask you to check with your vet first when there’s any doubt,
such as a known or suspected tumor, pregnancy or certain medications.

How long does a session take?

Sessions are short. The exact time depends on the animal and the plan we build together.

How soon will I see a difference?

Every animal is different. Laser therapy is generally cumulative, so most plans
involve a series of visits rather than one.

Where do you work?

We’re based in Taunton, Massachusetts, and work with horses, dogs, cats and pocket
pets across the Southcoast. Ask us about your location.

What does it cost?

We explain pricing in the first conversation, once we know the animal and the plan.

## Tell us who needs help

Good ideas deserve the ability to grow. So do the animals who carry us around.
